On Wednesday, the rapper-slash-fashion designer won the award for Shoe of the Year at the Footwear News 29th Annual Achievement Awards for his Adidas Yeezy Boosts. And that's not all! According to his acceptance speech, Kanye West's new baby will be here before you know it. That's right, North will soon be a big sister. When accepting the award, Kayne West said,
I’m waiting on my son to arrive any day now. I look at my daughter and I look at my wife and she’s rich and I don’t plan on being broke.
For those of us counting down the days until Kimye's second baby arrives, it looks like it could really happen at any moment. It's only a matter of time before Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's son graces the world with his presence. It's adorable that West is so excited for his family to continue growing. He's already proven to be a pretty spectacular dad, when it comes to reading books to North or playing with her on the beach. Plus, it's a relief that mom-to-be Kim Kardashian revealed that the baby is no longer breech. Although she's been open about her various pregnancy struggles, at least this is one last thing the reality star has to worry about.
While the proud parents are already pumped for the baby's arrival, the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family is joining in on the excitement. In a recent video interview with TMZ, Kris Jenner shared what she believes her grandson's name will be. It's actually a surprising response! She told the site, "Probably South. I'm counting on it."
Wait a minute, didn't Kim Kardashian already say that South is the "stupidest" name ever? Kris Jenner could be trolling all of us and playing into the rumors. But she's not laughing in the video and seems pretty sincere in her guess. Who has better intel into the famous family than their very own momager? If they do decide to give the baby a directional name, the Internet will let out a giant, "I told you so!" People have been speculating about that as soon as the baby news broke.
