Who Is Krysten Ritter Dating?

A long time ago, I first saw Krysten Ritter as Rory's classmate in Gilmore Girls and then, much alter, as the beloved and troubled girlfriend of Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. Throughout the years, I always knew I liked the actress and now an even wider audience is catching on due Ritter's amazing role in the Netflix series Jessica Jones. Ritter has been busy promoting the series and appearing on nearly every television network, so safe to say she is about to blow up. Because I am curious by nature, I wondered: Who is Krysten Ritter dating?

It's a natural question once someone is in the public eye even more. Ritter plays a complex and feminist character as Jessica Jones, an ex-superhero who has a lot of dark issues she has to go through. But based on Ritter's social media, she seems like a much more fun-loving and care-free woman than her character, and I was interested to figure out more of what she is actually like, including her dating life.

After some snooping, it turns out that the 33-year-old has a thing for rock stars. Ritter has been dating War on Drugs' singer Adam Granduciel since at least last August.

The way she met her beau is kind of a dream come true. How many people can say they got together with the singer of one of their favorite bands? Us Weekly reported Ritter and Granduciel's relationship last August and it seemed like it had just started. An Us Weekly "insider" told the magazine:

It started with her being a fan of the band and then somehow she got in touch with him and went to some shows... They're having fun and spending some quality days in New York.

Well, that's the way to do it! I wonder if Harry Styles will finally read my Twitter DM's to him and invite me to their show? Just kidding... Yeah... Anyway, just a few days after Us Weekly's report, Ritter posted the first photo of her and her boo together, and it was very sweet:

In December 2014, Ritter covered Ocean Drive magazine and spoke out about Granduciel and had some very sweet things to say. She shared about growing up surrounded by music:

And I’ve always dated musicians, even in high school... He’s my favorite artist. He’s incredibly supportive and encouraging. We played guitar together for a bit yesterday before he left on tour. He taught me a scale that I’m going to practice a bunch and try to blow his mind when he gets back.

Aww. It definitely sounds like they're meant to be.

Since a relationship that started last summer would be long for any relationship in Hollywood, I lurked some more to see if the two were still together, and it seems to be true! After spending the summer filming Jessica Jones, Ritter was spotted on a Mexican beach vacation with Granduciel and the two were still on. As of November 25, when Ritter appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and complained about her boyfriend spoiling Homeland for her (I know your pain, girl) it's safe to say that these two lovebirds are still together.

While they may not be the most flashy of Hollywood couples, it's nice to know that a big television actress like Ritter is able to maintain to her relationship low-key with a low-key man, which just might be the secret to their success.
