On the new season of Keeping Up With Kardashians, fans get to see firsthand what really happened with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's relationship. Essentially, it shows all of the events that led to their split. Although their relationship is currently rocky on TV, it actually seems to be on the upswing at the moment, beyond the screen. Not only did Kourtney Kardashian reportedly visit her ex in rehab, but Scott Disick attended the Kardashian-Jenner Thanksgiving. In case anyone has doubts that Disick is back in the Kardashians' lives, this may be all the proof you need. On Tuesday night, Kris Jenner shared a selfie with Scott Disick. While that may not seem out of the ordinary, the caption is a bit over the top. The momager wrote,

OK, so on one hand, it's nice that Kris Jenner is showing her support for Disick. He's undeniably been going through a tough time in the past few months, and I'm sure all of the love is appreciated. Plus, he seems to be almost smiling in the picture. A rare sight, considering he's never really been someone who sports a huge grin in photos. Oh, and Jenner is wearing a fantastic pair of glasses. I'm on the fence about the photo's caption, but 100-percent support KJ's new specs.
While the picture definitely conveys a sweet sentiment, at the same time, it's a bit confusing. She refers to him as "one of the true loves of [her] life" and says she's "so blessed" to have him as her grandchildren's "baby daddy." Wasn't it only a season or two ago that she was telling Kourtney to break up with him? They definitely weren't each other's number-one fans during KUWTK 's earlier years. How is their relationship suddenly perfect and better than ever before?
I understand that Disick will be in the Kardashians' lives no matter what. After all, he has three children — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — with Kourtney Kardashian, and it'd be a shame if he wasn't around. At the same time, it's a bit bizarre that Jenner is so open about her outpouring of love, while her daughter Kourtney says nothing on the matter. Maybe Jenner is trying to play peacemaker in the situation and smooth things over on her daughter's behalf. But still, it seems out-of-nowhere.
Although I may not know what to make of this, I guess the selfie is ultimately a good sign. The fact that Kris Jenner can publicly show an outpouring of support for Lord Disick must mean their bond is improving. I'd like to think that's a sign Disick is doing better mentally and emotionally as well. The fact that he's putting effort into working on himself and his family relationships is definitely applaudable. Seriously, good for him!
