9 Times Kylie Jenner Was Flashy On Instagram

We can all relate to feeling like our social media profiles show a really great version of our lives, so the fact that Kylie Jenner admits her life on Instagram is flashy in a recent interview should come as no surprise. She’s got a reputation to uphold, and the way she portrays her life on Instagram is definitely a huge part of that.

“I’m way flashier on Instagram and Snapchat, because I feel like that’s what people want… People want to see my cars and my purses… But that’s so not me,” Jenner told Interview. She’s probably right in assuming that’s what everyone wants to see, because we all love her Insta feed, whether we like to admit it or not. While I love a good designer purse shot as much as the next girl, I’m glad that it’s not all that matters to her.

She goes on to admit that it’s not even the material things that make her the happiest. “I’ve realized through the years that I just find happiness in other things, whether it’s my dogs or my friends or like, looking at the sunset,” she told the publication. So, while it seems like it’s all about the glitz and the glam, that’s not really the whole story.

I'm glad that Jenner can stay grounded despite it all because it's true — money can't buy you happiness. But, it can buy you really nice things. Although, they say the best things in life are free.
