Kylie's Lip Kits Are Selling For How Much On eBay?

Unless your budget for a lip gloss and liner is upwards of $10K, Kylie Jenner's latest product isn't for you — at least not until she releases more. Why? Because the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits are being resold on eBay for a lot of money, with current bids upwards of $10,000. Yes, that's the correct amount of 0s. And yes, my jaw dropped, too.

In a matter of minutes, the three lip sets, available in a light, medium, and dark matte shades, were reportedly sold out online. A mere 24 hours later the kits were being resold on eBay for astronomical sums. While the original price of $29 isn't that bad for the two products — a lip liner and a lipstick — that you receive in each set, the resale prices are ridiculous.

One particular eBar seller started the bidding on a set in the color Dolce K at it's regular price, but since it was first posted, the bid has been driven up to a whopping $10,000. You can still find kits for sale for way, way less than that, but the majority are still more than double the starting price, if not more expensive.

We all knew Jenner's lip kits were going to be popular. After a year of news dedicated to her lips, from the Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge to the lip injection rumors which turned out to be true. Lip products designed by the reality star were practically inevitable.

What makes the eBay prices so mind boggling is the fact that the brand has promised to restock before the holidays.

There's no doubt that this product has basically become one of the most coveted makeup item overnight. After all, people don't spend $10K on just anything!

In a dream world, money wouldn't be an issue and we could stock up all the expensive makeup we wanted. A splurge to me is a $9 mascara, but I sometimes wish I could fill my vanity with luxurious makeup items. So, if I could drop $10,000 on a Kylie Lip Kit right at this moment, here are a few other beauty products I would order along with it.
