The One Way To Wear Your Crop Tops In Winter

As the Starks say, winter is (most definitely) coming. No doubt, the cold winds are coming, and I'll have to start putting away my summer clothing, except for a few things: Skirts and crop tops. Perhaps one of my favorite things about warm weather is being able to rock a crop top and matching separate. I secretly shed a few tears whenever I have to pack my summer clothes away, because it means chapped lips, gusts of wind, and permanently frozen fingers and toes. But — It doesn't have to be that way! There is a way to transition your crop tops, and it's pretty obvious: Layering!

Like you layer your skirts with stockings and your tank tops with cardigans, crop tops can be layered, too! My personal favorite is throwing on a fitted zip up crop with a button up shirt, collar peeking out. Voilà, you've got yourself a snazzy vest! Works especially well for structured crops, as well. Perhaps one of my favorite looks is layering a cropped long sleeve top with a tunic and rocking leather leggings on underneath. This little tip works on some of your summer dresses, too!

If you want to pull a Kardashian, try a pair of high waisted trousers or jeans, crop top, and a long duster coat. That'll definitely keep you cozy!
