Where To Buy Thigh High Boots

Unless you don't get outside much and avoid following bloggers and celebrities on Instagram, you've probably noticed that the "it" shoe of the season is a pair of heeled thigh high suede boots. Everyone has been seen wearing these, from fashion blogger Aimee Song to supermodel du jour Gigi Hadid, but unfortunately, most bloggers and celebs are sporting a designer version, which cost more than my rent (Song's are Jimmy Choo and Hadid's are Stuart Weitzman). Fortunately, there are a few places that sell very similar thigh high boots for a fraction of the cost.

There's a reason these boots have become super popular among the fashionable elite — they can honestly be worn with anything. Dress them down with a pair of skinny jeans and a slouchy sweater, or dress them up with a dress and nice jacket. They don't seem like an item that is particularly versatile, but you'll be surprised how many outfits you can come up with once you have a pair of thigh high boots in your closet. I recently purchased a gray suede pair by Steve Madden and I honestly have to stop myself from wearing them every day. One important thing to call out though: people tend to stare at you when you wear them to a dive bar, just a heads up.
