Johnny Depp Knows Lily-Rose Is Growing Up Fast

Aww, Johnny — you're just like any loving dad. In an interview with The Daily Mail, Johnny Depp said daughter Lily-Rose's makeup was "disturbing," but in the sweetest way. Like any proud papa, he talked about her like the lovely young woman she is, but that doesn't mean he's not wigging out over how fast she's growing up.

"What’s happening to Lily-Rose is something that I didn’t expect to happen this early, that’s for sure!" he says. "It’s such a funny thing when you see your daughter transitioning from your baby, your little girl, to suddenly being a young woman." How sweet is that? *Cue "I Hope You Dance" by LeAnn Rimes*

He continued, "When I see her with makeup and all that stuff, it’s really disturbing, because she’s a very beautiful girl, and it’s all happening so fast." There's no doubt that Lily-Rose is growing up — the 16-year-old is quickly climbing the ranks in the modeling industry, even signing on with Chanel. "She’s been snatched up by Karl Lagerfeld - which is a coincidence, as he spotted her mother [Vanessa Paradis] when she was the same age, too," said Depp.

She's got the maturity to go along with her budding grown-up career, too. In an inspiring move this summer, Lily-Rose revealed she was sexually fluid, a move her dad wasn't surprised by."I already knew because she tells me everything — she’s not afraid to say anything to me. We’re super-tight and I’m very proud of our relationship," he said, adding, "Lily’s really together — she’s a sharp kid and one of the smartest human beings I have ever met."
