It's A Cumberbatch & Fassbender Dance Party

One of the strangest things about the Golden Globes, to east coasters at least, is that they end at 8 p.m. Pacific time. So while everyone watching from Maine all the way down to Florida was wine tipsy and ready to hit the hay when the show ended, the people who actually attended were champagne drunk pretty early in the evening. What do they do then? Go home and take a nap? Head out to after parties immediately? Bemoan the fact that Chick-fil-a is not available in their area and get Taco Bell instead? It remains a celebrity secret what order in which these things happen, but attendees definitely kept the party going which is great for us because we get awesome pictures like this one of Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Fassbender dancing together after the Golden Globes.

Both Cumberbatch and Fassbender appeared in the film 12 Years a Slave which took home the award for Best Motion Picture Drama. Additionally, Fassbender was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his role. Fassbender attended the ceremony, but Cumberbatch just came out afterwards and met up with his co-star at Fox and FX's after party for a night of dancing.

There are several great things about this picture. Here's a few:

1. Dancing with a drink in hand.

We all gotta have our awkward drink. Ya know, the one you sip on when you start feeling a little self-conscious about your dance moves. Cumberbatch is no exception.

2. Sunglasses inside without looking like a tool.

It's hard to pull off and Fassbender does it nicely.

3. The sheer look of joy on the guy next to them.

He loves it too!

4. Coordinating outfits.

One wears a straight tie. One wears a bow-tie. The balance here is important and makes for a more dynamic photograph.

5. The confirmation that men dancing in suits exists.

If you're like me and are at that time of life between high school and when all of your friends start getting married, it's nice to know that men dancing in suits exists. Many of us have not seen men dance in suits since senior prom and those weren't exactly men and their suits were navy and ill-fitting. These two look all cool and Mad Men.

6. The way they're posed like a movie poster.

Make this movie now. It's about... fun? It can be nominated for a Golden Globe next year!
