Hey, Universe. Leave Eliza Coupe alone! The actress formerly known as the hilarious Jane Kerkovich-Williams on ABC's dearly departed Happy Endings is losing her husband the same week she lost her show.

Just four days after Friday's news that Happy Endings was officially dead after three seasons on the air — efforts to revive the show on a cable network like USA failed — TMZ reported that the actress was served with divorce papers by her husband of six years, puppeteer Randall Whittinghill.

Of course, this could spell great things ahead for the incredibly talented Coupe — the comedic actress not only can sign onto a a much higher-rated or anticipated project, but on-screen husband Damon Wayans, Jr., is unattached. So let's get to work, 'shippers!
