At one point or another you've probably had "Marvin Gaye" or "See You Again" stuck in your head. Ever since the release of those songs, Charlie Puth has been becoming more well-known in the music industry. So much so that, he'll even be at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday, Nov. 22. Seeing as he's singing a duet with Meghan Trainor and is up for Song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year, alongside Wiz Khalifa for their hit from Fast & Furious 7, does this mean he'll be bringing a special someone to walk the red carpet with? Actually, let me just ask the question you might be wondering yourself: Is Charlie Puth single?
At the moment, it sure seems like it, but that doesn't mean he isn't thinking about the future and who he'd like to date. While chatting with MTV in May, Puth said he's interested in Kendall Jenner. If he ever met Jenner, here's what Puth would say: "I would say, 'You’re tall and pretty and not full of yourself, I like you. Marry me?'" What an opening line. You can't beat honesty and bluntness. I like a man who doesn't beat around the bush.
If you follow Puth, you might be thinking: "Wait. I thought he was dating Selena Gomez?" To be as straightforward as Puth would be with Jenner, no, they are just friends. In September, both Gomez and Puth shared photos on social media while hanging out. Of course, everyone started freaking out and immediately jumped to conclusions, but Gomez was quick to clear up any and all rumors by referring to the 23-year-old as her "FRIEND." Puth also cleared up any miscommunication by sharing on Twitter, "She's just my friend guys. Lol. Relax."
So there you have it: Charlie Puth is not dating Selena Gomez, but is interested in Kendall Jenner.
There's no doubt he has good taste and surrounds himself with good company. If he ever needs relationship and/or dating advice, I'm sure Gomez can offer him some words of wisdom.
