There's usually one big theme that centers around every holiday. Christmas is supposed to celebrate the birth of Jesus; the Fourth of July is meant to honor the U.S.' independence; and Thanksgiving (whose title is kind of a big giveaway) is all about being thankful for what you have. However, there's someone out there who would argue that Thanksgiving is about so much more than that. Because while it is a day centered around giving thanks, it's also a day for eating vast quantities of food. And nobody knows this fact better than Friends ' very own Joey Tribbiani, whose eating habits are a force to be reckoned with, regardless of what day it is.
In fact, this guy's eating capabilities are so extensive that it made me want to do a little research on the matter. (Yes, these are the types of things my brain thinks about on a daily basis. What of it?) Using an old school venn diagram, I broke down Joey's everyday eating habits and compared them to his eating regime during the Thanksgiving holiday. This led to some pretty interesting results. Because while the overall premise of both sides is centered around the same concept (food), I managed to unearth some pretty big differences in his appetite.
Clearly, this character's love of food knows absolutely no bounds. And that is certainly something to be thankful for.
