Natalie Dormer Knows How To Work A Princess Dress
If you're not already acquainted with her, it's about time you get to know this actress. Not only is she wickedly talented, but she also has amazing style. Natalie Dormer attended the Mockingjay, Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles wearing a gorgeous Vivienne Westwood dress. Seriously this woman has got style.
You've seen Dormer in Captain America: The First Avenger, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 (and Part 2 later this week!), and of course, Game Of Thrones. So while there's no doubt that we'll see her racking up awards for her performances, she should also be earning tons of best dressed honors, too. Because this 33-year-old is showing some major style chops with her chic, risk-taking style that's unlike anyone else's in Hollywood at the moment.
Her latest ensemble from the most recent press event in Los Angeles certainly establishes that. I love the soft, gray-ish blue color of the tulle and the volume makes Dormer look like a princess. The soft, floral embroidery all over is beyond pretty, and the gold leaf detailing at her waist, along with the asymmetrical line of the bodice, all the details that take this gown from pretty to drop-dead-gorgeous
Isn't it stunning? She's radiating beauty and confidence.
Even though she kept the look simple sans accessories (besides some small hoop earrings), her look is still show-stopping
Her makeup was also flawless. She paired the gown with a matte, grayish-purple smokey eye, soft pink lips and a luminous complexion.
I think it's safe to say that Dormer knows what she's doing style-wise. There's no doubt there will be plenty more drop-dead-gorgeous looks in her future, but until the time comes, let's look back at some of her amazing looks from the past.
1. Black & White Gown
Not everyone can pull of a graphic print like this in a formal gown. But clearly, it's not a problem for Dormer.
2. Graphic Bodice
This dress makes a major style statement. And while some people may stay away from graphic, colorful dresses like these, Dormer knows how to rock one.
3. Asymmetrical Jumpsuit
I can confidently say that I have never seen anyone pull off an asymmetrical print on a stand-out piece like a jumpsuit and look absolutely fabulous while doing it. Well, until now.
4. Floral One-Shouldered Gown
This dress is heavenly, with floral detailing around the waist and a gorgeous one-shouldered silhouette. Dormer wears it well!
5. Yellow Cut-Out Gown
Cut-outs are a trend I hope never dies. They're sexy and alluring without being over-the-top. Dormer's gorgeous yellow gown with cut-out detailing is a perfect example of that.
6. Menswear Inspired Suit
A suit? No style challenge is too big for Dormer. She looks gorgeous in this menswear-inspired suit combination.
7. Crop Top & Skirt
This may be my favorite look of Dormer's yet. Her gorgeous orange crop top with a long, fluted black skirt are an effortlessly chic pairing.
8. Graphic Mini Dress
The yellow and blue graphic on this mini dress is a little overwhelming, but Dormer rocks it.
9. Floral Romper
This super cute floral romper has me wishing for warmer days. Well, thanks for nothing, Dormer.
