British girls do the cat eye flick so perfectly. Alexa Chung is celebrated for her deftness with liquid eyeliner because duh. And have you found yourself wondering which eyeliner Adele wore in her "Hello" video, since it's a flawless flick? Although the exact eyeliner that her makeup artist used hasn't been revealed, there's only one product you need if you want to copy Adele's thick, black, and winged liner. It's a readily available brand you can afford, so I am going to haul ass to CVS or Ulta after I finish this post and pick up a fresh pot.
In The Hollywood Reporter 's Beauty Issue, which also celebrates the best beauty moments of 2015, Adele's makeup artist Michael Ashton, who has quite the stunning canvas to work with, spoke about working with the singer on her now-iconic music video.

Ashton told the publication that the video director "wanted it to be very much Adele, which is always a polished beauty look." Because of course it is! Ashton also confirmed that he used gel liner first, tracing the lash line from the inner corner to the outer corner to create the preferred shape. He then filled the shape in with a liquid liner, which allows for precision, and then added the wing. The publication recommends Maybelline's Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner for those looking to snag Adele's dramatic and winged look!
Now that's a perfectly lined eye, isn't it? The singer's tapered brows were groomed by L.A. artist Kristie Streicher.

There it is! A gel pot of perfection!
As for which liquid liner you can use to fill in the shape, you can pick up Maybelline's Line Stiletto or Rimmel's Exaggerate at the drugstore, as well. I use both all the time and they are amazing, stay put options.
The cat eye flick and rosy lips are Adele's signatures, which she recently showed off on the cover of The Observer. She knows what works and she kills it. Every. Single. Time. Ashton also explained how Adele got this flushed, not-too-perfect lip, confessing that his trick is "defining the mouth with lip liner, then blending it with nourishing lip balm into the natural lip tone, which gives a beautiful freshness that doesn't look too overdone."
