Holiday season is approaching, which means it's time to start picking out your looks for the million holiday parties you'll surely be invited to. You have to find the perfect outfit and pick the perfect makeup, then it's time to pick out my favorite part — the hair! Nothing says festive like a special hairstyle, and these braided holiday hair tutorials will take you from the office party to a gathering with friends.

When I really want to impress, I'm all about the braided hairstyle. Braided updos are relatively easy to do once you get the hang of it, and braids can be a great way to make your hair look special without taking up too much time. Don't limit yourself to updos though. There's a ton of braided hair tutorials out there that let you leave your hair down or half up, if that's more your style.

The best part about braids? They're perfect for adding hair accessories to. The holiday season gives you the excuse to get a little crazy with your hair, whether that's adding a sprig of holly to your updo or pinning your hair back with a Christmas bow.
