She is MIA no longer! While she is sitting out the current ninth season of The Voice, singer Christina Aguilera rocked Old Hollywood glam in a black and gold dress, proving that she is indeed back! The powerhouse vocalist certainly made quite a splash at the 2016 Breakthrough Prize ceremony, thanks to a clingy gown with a stunning mermaid silhouette.
Xtina will return to Season 10 of The Voice , no doubt (and no pun, since she rotates seasons with No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani) looking fabulous while perched in her big red chair while rocking her signature scarlet lips, platinum locks, and majorly glam style.
But in the here and now, the diva blew me away with her body con, floor-sweeping dress, which had gold embellishment on the cuffs, the shoulders, and the hips. The gold appliqués were all the accents that the slinky, black dress with a center slit needed.
Aguilera has had many, many va-va voom moments throughout her storied public career. But this was one of va-va-voomiest ensembles she's ever worn. The wide open neckline off-set the glamorous long sleeves. This dress was pretty much made for the singer.
Aguilera remains a consummate blonde bombshell.

Aguilera's over-the-shoulder side pose offered a better look at the gold plating of the dress.
She was every inch an Old Hollywood glam goddess... a cross-pollination of Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, and Jean Harlow.
I love how she played down her makeup and let her outfit do the talking.
She opted to go with softer, neutral eye shadow and peach lip gloss, as opposed to her signature black cat eye and red lips. It was a more muted look, but it was just as sexy.
Aguilera and her fiance Matthew Rutler made a dashing red carpet duo. Aguilera was able to nix a necklace and go with a bare neck, since she rocked drop earrings, a few rings, and all of the gold accenting.
