12 Looks From Coachella 2013, Because We'd Rather Be in the Desert Than in a Polar Vortex

It may be negative degrees in most parts of the country, but with the Coachella 2014 lineup being revealed, we've got sunny, skin-baring, California-appropriate attire on our minds. The Indio shake-and-bake may be four months away, but that shouldn't stop you from planning ahead. After all, it's become the unofficial fashion show in the desert. It may be all about the music, but fest-goers certainly dress to impress. (Though, as we've noted before, it's certainly not compulsory.)

We've rounded up 12 great looks from last year's extravaganza to inspire you for this year's upcoming festivities — and to help you forget that you're actually wearing 60 layers.

ROMP AROUND

We’d argue that the romper is the most popular clothing choice for Coachella and we totally understand why — there’s nothing better than a cute AND comfy ensemble.

HANKY PANKY

Festival goers know how difficult it is to keep the frizz to a minimum in the desert humidity. The most stylish resolution? A printed scarf headband, like this rose-printed bandana.

Lucy Hale keeps things simple, yet fun with a floral romper, heart-shaped sunnies and a makeup-free fresh face.

BY THE BOOT

This obviously isn’t her first Coachella: this fest-goer knows the importance of keeping her feet covered from being stomped with a pair of sturdy boots and has a stylish wrap to keep warm when the desert temperatures drop.
