They're Calling It Quits
Don't expect news of any purple-haired vegan babies on the way anytime soon. Kelly Osbourne has called off her engagement to vegan chef Matthew Mosshart. The couple, who were engaged for just over a year after meeting at Kate Moss' 2011 wedding, had an "amicable" split according to a statement Osbourne's rep released to Us Weekly. The entire statement reads,
Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement. The split is amicable and the pair continue to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it.
Well now I just feel guilty for even talking about it, but since I have no future plans of badgering Osbourne on Twitter or chasing Mosshart down the street demanding the answer to "What went wrong?" as well as his tempeh marinade recipe, I think I'm in the clear.
Even though her rep said Osbourne would be giving no further comment, she did post message on Twitter that is very likely related to the situation. Osbourne wrote, "Its all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!"
More important than keeping positive on Twitter (although that is very important!), Osbourne practiced graffiti with Justin Bieber yesterday. Nothing fills the void created by an amicably broken heart like watching that little dude spray paint funny creatures on a wall. Osbourne posted pictures of the hang out on Instagram. She captioned this one, "Most #Random but fun night with @justinbieber!"
I don't think doing legal graffiti with Justin Bieber can be described any way other than "random."
Of course, the biggest bummer of this break up is that we'll never see a couples Halloween costume as awesome as this again:
