Brooks Says Vicki Believes He Has Cancer

by Allyson Koerner

And the never-ending cancer discussion of Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 continues. In an exclusive sit-down interview with E! News, with part one airing Monday night, Brooks Ayers says Vicki Gunvalson believes he has cancer. This, of course, is in response to part three of the RHOC reunion that aired Sunday night, in which Gunvalson said she doesn't think Ayers has cancer. As she told Andy Cohen, "My gut says he doesn't have it."

However, Ayers now says his ex-girlfriend texted him saying quite the opposite. He told E! News, "She said no, she didn't feel like she's been duped and secondly, she does now believe that I have cancer." So, why did Gunvalson allegedly have a change of heart? Ayers said, "You have to ask her. I don't know why. I don't know why somebody would change their mind as many times as she does."

If that isn't enough, he also said he didn't go from Stage 3 to Stage 2 cancer, like he previously told viewers. "I was trying to communicate that my numbers were improving, as a lay person, trying to communicate and I'm not a physician," he explained. "It doesn't decline in stage so I totally misspoke about that."

For those also wondering about the allegations made during Sunday's RHOC reunion about how Ayers treated Gunvalson, including claims he verbally abused her, he will also discuss that as well during his interview with E!.

With that said, I leave RHOC's Heather DuBrow posing the question viewers have been asking all season:
