Where Was Justin Bieber's New Video Filmed?

by Alexis Rhiannon

I'm never exactly sure how I'm supposed to feel when a new Justin Bieber song comes out, on account of being a 28-year-old human woman, but, this time, I did definitely feel something. And that something was, "Ooh, where was Bieber's "I'll Show You" video filmed?" The song itself I can take or leave, because this whole redemption campaign is just a little too much for my tastes, but the video is honestly beautiful. The landscape, that is. Once again, I'm almost certain that I'm not supposed to be complimenting the body of a 21-year-old who is still a teenager with that swoop haircut in my mind, so I will refrain from any running commentary on that part of the video. You know what part I mean.

But, anyway, one thing that I don't need to overthink is the setting for Bieber's newest video for "I'll Show You", off his upcoming album Purpose , which is gorgeous. There are lichen-encrusted rock paths overlooking beautiful waterfalls, sun-dappled expanses of green, crashing waves, ice caves, and beautiful pools glowing with a blue light, as if lit from within. It's pretty breathtaking, so I wanted to know right away where this was all happening, especially if it was the same place. (Because omg.) And turns out, it is: Iceland. Agh! I should've known! Not only has it been at the top of my list of places to visit for years now, but Bieber posted an Instagram from a glacier dip in Iceland just about a month ago.

So there's our answer. All of those beautiful landscapes miraculously exist in one amazing place, and that one amazing place Iceland. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of a million Beliebers frantically booking their tickets to go visit the place where Bieber took a dip in his tighty whities. And can you blame them? Look at all this beauty.
