Kanye West's Latest Shoe Is Unveiled

The King of Shoes himself dropped yet another shoe. Kanye West's Yeezy 950 Boot was just debuted, so you can add yet another pair of kicks to his impressive collection. Though they've been made available for pick up today, you actually had to have picked up a wristband last night at one of the select boutiques it's being sold at, Who What Wear reports.

These boots, which look pretty much like your standard snow boot with a chicer upgrade, comes in four colors: Black, brown, peyote, and moon rock, and ranges from $250 to $625, according to Who What Wear. Basically, they look like a snow boot on monochromatic steroids. Yesterday, Adidas announced that Yeezy Season 1 will be released on Oct. 29, and these boots are one of the items included.

According to a statement from Adidas, the 950 style for men is a boot and for women is a platform snow boot style. “I wanted something that felt like New York or Paris or Tokyo or Santa Barbara or Chicago—a worldliness and an ease,” West said in the statement. “I don’t want the clothes to be the life. I want the clothes to help the life.”

Well, these boots certainly look like they'd brave the snow just fine. But if you're looking for an alternative (since, I'm guessing, many of you didn't pick up the wristband), check out some of these alternatives that might just tickle your fancy!

It ain't all about the Yeezy! If you won't be graced with the pleasure of owning one of the Yeezy 950 Boots, there's always other options that provide both style and comfort. The Starks have said it time and time again: Winter is coming. Time to protect those toes!
