Phillip Phillips Is Married!

It looks like another American Idol winner has found his happily ever after! Sorry ladies, but American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips has married his long time girlfriend, Hannah Blackwell. According to People, the pair tied the knot last night in their home state of Georgia. Congrats to the newlyweds!

The "Home" singer and Blackwell have been dating for seven years, long before he even stepped foot on the American Idol stage. They met at his sister's charity event, and apparently hit it off immediately. Phillips popped the big question last Christmas, and shared the news with his followers via Facebook that winter.

The wedding ceremony took place in Albany, Georgia, at the Resora Plantation. According to People, around 250 guests were in attendance to celebrate the beautiful new couple. Although Phillips is known for his laid back style and demeanor, he seems to have pulled out all of the stops for the ceremony. His new wife donned a Hayley Paige wedding gown, and he rocked a Billy Reid tux.

The two have always been very supportive of each other, and Blackwell was by Phillips' side throughout the entire Idol process. In an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest after he took home the crown for Season 11 that discussed how Blackwell copes with all of her now-husband's fans, Phillips praised her support, saying, "She's supportive of me . . . she makes it known that she's with me!" It's clear that these two are each other's ride or dies.

So what's next for the newlyweds? According to People, the two plan on hosting their reception in true, Southern style on Sunday night in Georgia and will have their honeymoon in the coming week. Best of luck to this new couple as they embark on this journey together!
