Daniel Radcliffe Digs His GF, On-Screen & Off

I am not going to lie to you all and say that I see Daniel Radcliffe and don't immediately think of Harry Potter and my childhood innocence. But, there are certain instances that take me out of that frame of thought completely. For instance, like how in a new interview with Playboy, Daniel Radcliffe said he recognized his feelings for Erin Darke during a sex scene for Kill Your Darlings. I mean, if you haven't seen the scene he's talking about, it sounds... just a bit like oversharing. I can assure you, though, the fact that he recognized his feelings for her during this moment is actually super sweet.

According to the site, he said,

That’s a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time. There’s no acting going on — not from my end, anyway. There’s a moment when she makes me laugh, and I’m laughing as me and not as my character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble.

You see, the sex scene is not hot, nor is it meant to be. It's actually just an awkward diversion tactic for the truly involved characters in the movie. But, plot points aside, it's easy to see how Darke's portrayal of a vivacious character with a lack of a filter could have endeared the actor to her. After all, it is acting, but the personality and passion behind the character is what really brings it to life.
