Adele's "Hello" MV Is Shutting Down Twitter
It's been a whirlwind for Adele. In just three days' time she joined Instagram, unveiled the track list and release date for her forthcoming 25 album, and officially dropped its first single. The audio for "Hello" was released at around 11:45 PT, and the music video dropped on YouTube just minutes after. As to be expected, Twitter has reacted to Adele's "Hello" and the social media platform is going crazy. The song was preceded by a series of teaser clips featuring sepia footage from the Xavier Dolan-directed video.
"Hello, it's me. I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet to go over everything," Adele croons, before "Hello" truly kicks into high gear. "Hello" is as much about getting in touch with yourself as it is making amends. It's a powerful track that has clearly resonated with music fans the world over. The single is just one of 11 tracks on 25 , due out Nov. 20. Titles like "Water Under The Bridge," "Million Years Ago," and "When We Were Young" hint at Adele's nostalgia for her past. In a letter to fans, she said she was making amends with herself and making up for lost time. Experiencing that journey with Adele is seriously inspiring, as you can see from reactions to "Hello" alone.
