Happy News For Tom Hardy & Charlotte Riley

Well, that was fast — at least for fans. According to the Daily Mail, Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley have welcomed their first child. While, presumably, the time didn't exactly go by any faster than the usual nine months for Riley, fans of the acting pair only found out about their exciting pregnancy news in early September when they walked the red carpet together at London premiere of Hardy's movie Legend, so it's easy to feel like things escalated quickly. There aren't yet any other details revealed about the couple's reported news, and they haven't yet confirmed the birth themselves. Bustle has reached out to Riley's rep for comment, but has not yet heard back.

If the couple did, in fact, welcome their new addition, while the baby is the first for the couple, it is the second child for Hardy, who has a seven-year-old son, Louis, from a previous relationship.

While many people are familiar with Hardy from his roles in films like Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, and Mad Max: Fury Road, Riley is lesser known. As for her acting career, she had a role in Edge of Tomorrow and appeared on the television series Peaky Blinders. The couple married in 2014 and, much like Riley's pregnancy, the news didn't break until months after it happened. So, if you're looking for confirmation of the reported birth, don't hold your breath.
