Karlie Kloss wore a gothic glam gown to the Pencils of Promise gala in New York City on Wednesday, demonstrating the perfect way to nail the edgy style that all the celebrities seems to now be wearing. Everyone from Katy Perry to Vanessa Hudgens has dabbled in goth-inspired fashion lately, and now another celeb has hopped on the bandwagon.

Kloss hit the red carpet in a floor-length fitted black gown with a subtle mermaid-like train at the hem. The gorgeous piece featured a strapless bodice with a long-sleeve, high-neck lace overlay that showed off just a bit of skin. She paired the statement dress with point toe black heels and an embellished box clutch.

The supermodel's sandy-colored tresses were styled in a messy 'do with a side-swept french braid and loose flyaway pieces — it was effortless chic at its finest. Her makeup kept with the goth glam theme, flaunting slight gold metallic lids, and a deep red pout. The overall ensemble emanated a certain regal Victorian feel that was truly gorgeous.
