Lea Michele's Healing Well, Apparently

When the Glee actress rings in a New Year, she knows how to do it right. That is, she isn't afraid to let us know that she’s going to take 2014 by storm. Lea Michele's bikini pic in Mexico on Instagram evoked words like “cheeky,” “revealing” and “thong bikini” regarding her choice of derriere exposing swimsuits (there’s a new one for you), but the real word that appears to be missing here is “healing.”

Twirling her hair next to a pool overlooking a spectacularly beautiful and scenic view, there’s no doubt that Michele is feeling a fresh start, adding to the photo, “What an amazing week in Mexico… New day. New year. #Bringit2014.” Not to mention, she had the chance to spend her vacation with former Glee co-star and best friend, Jonathan Groff. Doesn’t get much better than that.

The picture, which appears among many others on her Twitter page and Instagram account, prove that she’s just enjoying herself and life. Despite the loss of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, who played Finn on Glee, the star has opened up to her fans about how she is moving forward, revealing much of her progress via social media. Just a week ago, Michele posted a photo of herself hiking in California where she spent her Christmas.

Only a few days after this, an image of her feet resting on a table in front of a fire place popped up. The caption for this read, “After an amazing past few weeks it’s time to put my feet up recharge, relax and breath in some fresh air.” I couldn’t agree with her more, because she definitely deserves it.

There have also been numerous posts she's shared related to her song "Cannonball" as well as a picture with Ellen Degeneres, to whom she first opened up following Monteith’s death.

Michele’s Twitter and Instagram feed have ranged from stylishly chic, to heartwarming to absolutely inspirational. Fans everywhere are most likely proud of Michele and her comeback and we all hope she has a remarkable year ahead of her. Kick some 2014 ass, girl, and fly like a cannonball.
