Channing Tatum Makes The Best Winnie The Pooh
It goes without saying that Channing Tatum is one of the cutest celeb (and regular) dads on the planet, but he's officially taken what he's willing to do for his daughter to the next level. Although plenty of us having been the victim of an embarrassing dad from time to time, Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan's two-year-old daughter, Everly, is only old enough to be impressed by her father's antics. His latest sacrifice for his daughter is also his most awesome and it's Halloween-related. Apparently, he decided to go for a comfy look this year, because Channing Tatum dressed up as Winnie The Pooh for Everly's Halloween carnival. And the results? Perfection.
The actor shared the photo of himself all dressed up on Instagram, and it takes the cake for comfiest Halloween costume ever. For the carnival, Tatum donned a Winnie The Pooh onesie — complete with stuffed pot belly, from all that honey eating. And he wasn't just a recognizable character to Everly and her toddler-aged friends, but he probably also spent the day feeling like he was wearing his PJs. And naturally, he paired the costume with aviator sunglasses, which really pulled the look together.
Halloween is only a little over a week away, so I understand if you're still looking for a costume. But if you were thinking about wearing a costume that required caked-on face paint, uncomfortable shoes, or some sort of creative contraption this year, let Tatum's costume persuade you to reconsider your decision. It really makes a case for being comfortable — especially if you live somewhere you know will be freezing cold on the night of October 31, and especially if you're a lazy girl like me. Tatum's outfit is the closest you can get to wearing a Snuggie in public without actually wearing a Snuggie in public, and it still counts as a costume. You can't lose!
In fact, if you want, grab a similar Pooh costume, don some sunglasses, and tell people you're dressed as Channing Tatum dressed as Pooh. I can almost guarantee you that you'll be the only person out there wearing that particular costume this year.
