Alexa Chung's Style Is Breathtaking As Usual
This It-girl sure has been busy lately! Have you been following the launch of Alexa Chung's new app, Villoid? It's like an edgy, street style-focused version of Pinterest, and it was inspired by Cher's long-coveted closet simulator from Clueless (which pretty much makes it an automatic win, as far as I'm concerned). At any rate, it looks like she's deftly transitioning from TV personality/model/designer to TV personality/model/designer/entrepreneur — and, this probably goes without saying, but she's been looking mighty fashionable while she's at it. She recently attended events for Bulgari and the CFDA, and she came dressed to kill for both.
Most recently, she appeared at Bvlgari's latest exhibition in New York City, where she walked the red carpet (and drank fabulous cocktails) to celebrate the opening night of Bvlgari & Rome: Eternal Inspiration. She wore an absolutely gorgeous embroidered Valentino gown (no one can wear Valentino quite like Chung, can they?) from the pre-fall 2015 collection, paired with — what else? — decadent Bvlgari jewelry.
Earlier this week, she also stunned at the CFDA x Vogue Fashion Fund Design Challenge — she made quite the statement in a high-fashion-yet-folksy babydoll dress, styled with some truly kick-ass zippered patent leather boots. Let's take a look at both winning ensembles!

Now that is what you call a dress — it's like your favorite Renaissance painting met your favorite Disney princess and got covered in fairy dust. I mean, wheat? Poppies? Butterflies? Cherry blossoms? This dress has got it all! (And props to Bvlgari on that bling, because her jewelry is royalty-level insane).

Really, can Chung do no wrong? The combined fashion quotient of that ultra-trendy dress paired with those (arguably even trendier) boots boggles the mind (in a good way).
