This Treat Will Double The Joy On 'Shark Tank'
Hybrid foods are all the rage right now. You've got your cronut, your ramen burger, and your turducken when Thanksgiving rolls around. But even though it seems like we're inundated with new hybrid foods all of the time, few of these mash-ups have gotten me as excited as the tasty treats Milk + Brookies will serve up on Shark Tank this Friday night.
Though "Brookie" may be the adorable nickname you've given your bestie Brooke, it actually means something very, very delicious when it comes to food. As you might be able to guess from the name, a brookie is one part brownie, one part cookie, and all parts delicious. If brookies haven't swept the nation as much as some other hybrid foods have, they totally should after Milk + Brookies appears on Shark Tank.

I have no doubt that the Sharks are going to love brookies, but will they believe in the food as a business? We'll have to just wait and see when Friday night's episode airs. Until then, you can whet your appetite now by learning all about brookies and how you can try these delish-looking desserts yourself.
A Brookie Is A Mega-Dessert

Life is hard, and sometimes you're unfortunately thrown into situations where you have to choose between eating a brownie or a cookie, which are equally amazing. But have no fear, because the brookie is here. The brookies from Milk + Brookies are cookies baked on top of brownies that form one tasty Franken-dessert. They come in a wide variety of flavors, from peanut butter to red velvet to even a maple bacon cookie on top of a fudge brownie. I don't think you're ready for this brookie.
You Don't Need Baking Skills To Eat Brookies
So now that you're salivating all over the electronic device on which you are reading this article, how do you actually get a Milk + Brookies treat in your mouth? You can head over to the company's official website and order up the flavor and yield of your choice to have them delivered to your door. There's also a Milk + Brookies pop-up shop at the Westfield Culver City mall in Culver City, California that's open now through Dec. 31 if you live in the area and want to pick these up in person. Most of the brookie orders seem to start at a retail price of $24, which may seem kind of pricey for a baked good, but you're really getting two desserts in one, if you think about it.
Buying Brookies Used To Be More Experimental
Buying brookies online from Milk + Brookies used to be more of an unpredictable experience if you wanted it to be. In the company's online store, there used to be an option where you could buy brookies from its test kitchen, and I can only imagine all of the wild and tasty concoctions that came out of there. Perhaps if the company is successful on Shark Tank, it will reconsider making this feature available to the public once again. One can only hope.
The Owner Seems As Sweet As Her Brookies
If Milk + Brookies' treats don't melt the Sharks' hearts, the company's owner certainly will. Jovon English seems so friendly and passionate about her product in a segment about Milk + Brookies that aired on KTLA 5 last month that you can't help but root for her on Shark Tank.
They Have Some Famous Fans
The Sharks won't be the first celebrities to show some love for Milk + Brookies. Michelle Williams, La La Anthony, and Loretta Devine have all been seen with Milk + Brookies baked goods in their hands. Hopefully, these treats made their way into their stomachs, too.
You Can Make Your Own Brookies
Not to take anything away from Milk + Brookies and all, but if you'd rather make your own brookies, that's totally doable, too. This isn't really a proprietary product, which I'm sure will make Kevin O'Leary weep. If you Google "brookie recipe," you'll stumble upon so many, it'll make your head spin. Click around, find a recipe that strikes your fancy, and go for it if you'd rather do it yourself.
