Dress Your Boyfriend Like Drake This Halloween
It’s taken me a while, but I am finally coming around to the reality that Drake will probably never be my boyfriend. I know: Though I fully admit that I often dream about it in the middle of the work day and that I often read into every single one of his song lyrics, I’m learning to accept the fact that it will most likely never happen. But, thankfully, I already have a boyfriend, and one that is pretty accommodating to boot — so I’m thinking that this year might be the year I finally get my wish. Because, though I can’t turn him into Drake with the wave of a wand or a press of a button, I might just be able to get my boyfriend to dress up like Drake for Halloween if I ask really nicely.
I don’t think it would be hard. Convincing him might be the most challenging part, sure, but once he is open to the idea, the costume will be a breeze: Drake might be a snazzy dresser, but he is a pretty simple guy.
And if your boyfriend is at all resistant to the idea of dressing like Drake for Halloween, just remind him of three very important things: One, he’s going to look like a total badass if he does it, two, he will definitely be rewarded for playing the part, and three, it’s a super easy costume to pull off.
Convinced? Here’s what you’ll need:
1. A Black T-Shirt
Whether he is on stage or off, the thing you are most likely to see Drake in is a black t-shirt.

The good news is that your man probably already has one of these handy. If not, try this t-shirt from Amazon.
2. Dark Pants
I wouldn’t go for jeans, per se — but if that’s what your boyfriend has, then so be it. Typically, we see the rapper in loose-fitting cotton pants, or even pants that look like slim-line carpenters. Try to find something similar, if you can.
Dickies Pants, $32, Amazon
These from Amazon might do the trick.
3. Gold Chains
Nothing too big or gaudy — just a few tasteful chains to complete the outfit.

4. Fake Tattoos
If your boyfriend is already tatted, then it’s all the better — but, if not, he’ll need a few in the right places. For instance: on his back, and on each of his forearms.
Fake Tattoos, $20, Tattoosales
Since most of Drake’s tattoos are numbers, these fake tattoos from Tattoosales.com will do the trick.
5. A Haircut
This might be hard to convince your guy to do, but a nice close buzz cut with that signature apostrophe on the right might be just the thing to take his costume to perfection.
Dressing your boyfriend like Drake is really the perfect costume, for the both of you. For him because it’s easy, and for you because it’s everything you’ve ever dreamed of.
