Step aside Hester, I mean Chanel #6, because there are two new potential Chanels that would fit right in on Scream Queens and alongside Kappa Kappa Tau's Chanel Oberlin. On Monday, Pretty Little Liars stars Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell posted Scream Queens Dubsmashes on Instagram. Yes, they are as fantastic as they sound. FYI, I'm pretty sure Emma Roberts' Chanel would approve, despite being beyond hard to please.
Based on Snapchat, it seems like Mitchell just started getting into Scream Queens and now she is obsessed, as you can see in her Dubsmash. She opted for the scene where Chanel introduces her minions known as Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande), Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd), and Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin). Mitchell, her two friends, and her sweet dog Angel all participated. As for Benson, she chose to Dubsmash that famous Pumpkin Spice Latte scene, where Chanel orders a complicated, very specific coffee order. Yeah, Benson nailed it.
Both PLL actresses proved they should star on Scream Queens and become Chanel #7 and Chanel #8. Or, you know, play the next two leading ladies in what already stars talented actresses in amazing roles. Whatever the case, I'm down for both showing up in some capacity. I'm pretty sure my fellow Emily Fields and Hanna Marin fans agree.
Actually, since Benson and Mitchell are real-life besties (they call themselves ButtahBenzo), they could even come on Scream Queens as a badass duo who gives Chanel a run for her money. Now, that's something I'd happily watch. Better yet, once PLL ends (which will probably be sooner rather than later), they could both just head on over to Scream Queens and start filming. Let's face it, the Ryan Murphy series will be probably be on the air for awhile and around when PLL wraps.
Will you look at that? Benson and Mitchell pretty much already have their next jobs lined up. Well, here's hoping.
