If you haven't heard, there are rumors circulating that Calvin Harris allegedly cheated on Taylor Swift. According to Radar Online, Harris visited a Thai massage parlor, where the site insinuates he received a "happy ending" massage. On Monday, Harris responded to the cheating rumors by threatening legal action via Twitter, all while making a very apt pun. He tweeted, "It's not going to be a 'happy ending' for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these bullsh*t stories bye bye."
First, he is clearly slamming any and all reports saying he cheated on Swift. Second, it sounds there's a good chance he will take legal action by suing those who are tarnishing his character and reputation with such ridiculous stories. If he didn't cheat — and by no means am I saying he did or that I believe these rumors — Harris has every right to be upset. It sure looks like he'll do whatever it takes to defend his character, himself, and his relationship.
However, fans don't seem to be on board with the DJ's response or reaction. Basically, they think he needs to let it go, calm down, and ignore the headlines. For real, the Twitter responses are overwhelming.
Here are just a select few tweets:
Whether you side with Harris or not, it appears T. Swift does, because she favorited his tweet:
So, this means she doesn't believe the rumors, right? I'm going with absolutely. You know who else is Team Calvin? Swift's best friend Selena Gomez. While chatting with Andy Cohen Monday on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live, she called the cheating reports "stupid." Gomez said, "Honestly, it’s so stupid. I’m pregnant every week, [Taylor’s] gonna be pregnant. It’s so stupid, like you can’t really read that stuff."
Hmm... so maybe Harris should just "shake it off" and take Gomez's advice by not reading such ridiculousness.
