Everything You Missed at Brit's Vegas Debut

by Tanya Ghahremani

If you were one of the many unlucky ones who missed Britney Spears' debut "Piece of Me" concert this weekend in Las Vegas, don't worry, you didn't miss much... only the chance to rub elbows with celebs like Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, and Selena Gomez, and the chance to hear Britney perform everything from "Work Bitch" to "Stronger" in one single show. That's ALL.

Ha, JK, you missed a lot.

The show, of course, was opening night of her two-year concert residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Though her E! original documentary chronicling how she's prepping for the shows, I Am Britney Jean, tanked in the ratings, early reviews of her show from opening night have been overwhelmingly positive — Spears is, if nothing else, a flawless performer.

So, what exactly went down? First off, the audience was packed with celebs: Along with Cyrus, Perry, Lambert, and Gomez, Jersey Shore star and Britney Spears' former tour buddy, Pauly D, also showed up, as well as Mario Lopez and Banshee star Ivana Miličević. Cyrus, of course, shared most of her experience on Instagram, posting a few pics of herself front row at the show along with captions like, "If u told me I'd be front row & center on @britneyspears opening night 10 years ago I would've never believed you."

Someone also caught this video of Cyrus rocking out in front row, dancing along as Spears performed her 2011 song, "Till the World Ends."

Mario Lopez was also pulled up on stage at one point in the show, which he wasted no time tweeting about:

In total Britney style, there were reportedly a ton of costume changes during the show, as Spears performed 24 of her biggest hits from "Oops...I Did it Again," to "Lucky" to "Womanizer." The show, which lasted a whopping 90 minutes, mostly consisted of Britney rocking bodysuits — one even bearing a striking similarity to the sequin-encrusted bodysuit she wore in the "Toxic" video. Also, at one point, Spears actually walked through a ring of fire, which you have to admit is as badass as it gets.

During and after the show, stars were pretty vocal on Twitter — including Spears herself.

So, in summation, we only all missed the party of the year. No big.
