It's no secret that long-time buddies Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have a friendship that is admired by many. They've put it on display for everyone and aren't afraid to vocalize how and why they adore one another so much. Well, it's happening again. While chatting with Flare as the magazine's November cover star, Selena Gomez praised Taylor Swift for her ability to bring women together. After discussing other famous young women "celebrating female bonds," the 23-year-old singer/actress said,
I hope it happens more and more! A bunch of women I look up to and admire are supporting one another, and Taylor has such a beautiful way of bringing people together. That was good for me, because the more I started working, the more uncomfortable I was. I wouldn’t trust people, and Taylor has a way of stripping down everything and just getting down to being human. I love that.
Agreed. It's a quality I admire in many women, especially the 1989 singer and now Gomez. Seeing as they're on the same page about women uplifting and supporting one another, it's no wonder they get along and are great friends. They see eye to eye about how women should treat each other. Not to mention, it sounds like Swift has helped Gomez become more comfortable in Hollywood, as an entertainer and as a woman. If that doesn't make a great friend, I don't know what does.
I know the 25-year-old is recognized for her massively huge "squad" that continues to grow, but if anyone make for the #UltimateFriendshipGoals, it's Swift and Gomez. They sure make a great duo and demonstrate what true friendship is and should always be.
