Kim's Due Date Might Encourage Her Name Choices

I don't think it's an overstatement to suggest that nearly anything Kim Kardashian and Kanye West do these days sparks some kind of social media trend or widespread hoopla. Case in point, the simple announcement of the alleged due date of Kim Kardashian's baby has turned into a damn spectacle. But, to be fair, there's good reason for it. The singer and reality star's baby is due on Christmas Day, according to TMZ. Though, as someone who is born only two weeks after the holiday can tell you, it's not as great as it seems. But, I won't ruin it for the little dude just yet by telling him that he'll probably get slighted on the presents. I'll let him figure that out for himself.

But, since he is still hangin' out in utero and can't really form any coherent thoughts yet, let's get back to the due date craziness centering around those who can. But let’s take things a step further than relishing in all those jokes centering around the irony of the date and West's self-importance. Let’s be proactive, people! Now that we’ve gotten wind of some very vital information, let’s help the Kardashian-West family out with a name. TMZ has already referred to the little boy as “Baby Yeezus,” but I don't know, I think that’s too obvious. Let’s do better for the boy. Because, as we know, it was the public who inspired North’s name in the first place.

Here are eight Christmas-inspired names for the new Kardashian-West baby.

1. Kris Kringle

Double whammy, honoring both Santa and Kris Jenner. Who, in a way, is like Santa. If Santa was a businesswoman inking profitable deals for his six children.

2. Noel

'Tis the season and Kim's middle name!

3. December

They already did the whole direction thing. But, if they hadn't, "North Pole" would have been a serious contender. So, I don't think a month would be too far out of the realm of possibility.

4. Christ... opher

But definitely just "Chris" for short. OK, Kanye?!

5. Winter

Not gunna lie, Winter West has a definite ring to it.

6. Kandye Kane

You know you like it.

7. Rudolph

What? It's cute! Like the reindeer!

8. Kristmas Karol
