I am so happy to hear that a certain long-time actress is back in the news. Kim Fields is joining the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta as was officially revealed in the Season 8 trailer, which was released on Monday. She has been out of the spotlight for quite some time now, so you might be thinking to yourself, "Who?" but there's a good chance you already know the actress. And if you do know her, you might just be more familiar with her acting roles than with her as a person outside of her work.

Fields played Tootie Ramsey on the classic television series The Facts of Life. She was also pretty hilarious as Regine on Living Single in the '90s. I'm sure the dots are starting to connect now. If you are a Real Housewives of Atlanta fan, you are about to get to know her pretty well when Season 8 premieres because she is featured pretty prominently in the trailer.
