Sofia Vergara doesn't care about following tradition for her wedding, and she's starting with her makeup. Thanks to an interview with People, we've found out that Sofia Vergara's wedding look is going to be more sexy and smoldering than pure and natural when she ties the knot to actor Joe Manganiello. “Personally, I know that I don’t like the natural look that some brides do. I’m 43, I don’t really need to look like a virgin getting married,” Vergara told People at a CoverGirl event on Sept. 23.

Although it sometimes seems like there isn't such a thing as a "standard wedding" in 2015, the "natural" look does tend to win out from my experience. I think it's pretty rad that so many brides just want to look like themselves on their weddings, but "looking like yourself" doesn't have to mean forgoing fun colors or a smoky eye. For Vergara, looking like herself means working her trademark makeup look.

“I want to look sexy. I want to look great. I want to look good and [wear] something that I know is going to look good in pictures. I know I’m going to do something that will make me feel pretty and well put together," she told People.
