The outfit, made up of dark and neutral hues and simple accessories, seems 100 percent made for Gaga — even if it isn't her usual look. The gown is an impressive choice for her very first Emmys.
Paired with sleek blonde hair and classic makeup, Mother Monster's outfit was bold without being totally bizarre in the least — so much so that I doubt there's anyone who can deny the beauty in this look. Something about Gaga's ability to wear everything and anything and always make it look completely perfect for her own crazy sense of style is so refreshing. While maybe nothing could beat Gaga's Oscar Alaia gloves head-to-toe look, her Emmys outfit is certainly pretty memorable as well. I love the simplicity of the look, and it highlights her stunning natural beauty in a way that her previous shocking red carpet looks don't necessarily allow for.
