Dakota Johnson Has More Tattoos Than You'd Think

When she showed up to the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival wearing a beautiful chiffon Alexander McQueen dress, perfectly highlighting her shoulder ink, it begged the question — How many tattoos does Dakota Johnson have? While the makeup in Fifty Shades Of Grey did a good job of making it look like she had no tattoos (and she did have a body double for some scenes), it turns out Johnson has a decent amount of ink.

In addition to the delicate birds tattooed on her right shoulder, Johnson has text reading "amor" on the back of her neck — her mother, Melanie Griffith has a matching one — a large tattoo on the inside of her arm reading "Acta Non Verba" (which means "deeds not words" in Latin), a small tattoo behind her ear, and a tattoo on her right foot that says "Look at the moon." This totals up to at least five tattoos, but I have a hunch she has more hiding somewhere.

Rumor has it that Johnson also has some sort of tattoo on her backside, because in an interview with The New York Times , the cinematographer of Fifty Shades Seamus McGarvey is quoted as saying, "We did have a butt double for Dakota. I had the pleasure of casting a nontattooed bottom," which leads us to believe that Johnson is hiding some more tattoos.
