Ashley Graham Models Lingerie For NYFW
New York Fashion Week is always filled with innovation and excitement, and this year, major body positivity took over the runways. Plus size model, Ashley Graham walked NYFW during a lingerie fashion show, showing that plus is perfect and confidence is key!
Graham partnered with Canadian plus size brand, Addition Elle, to create a line of lingerie for the curvy girls of the world. According to The Telegraph, "Graham and a host of fuller-figured models took to the runway to show off an array of French knickers, bras and sleepwear designed by the 27-year-old." Although Graham has been designing with the brand for a few years now, this was the first time the pieces hit a runway. Also, how cool is it that she was able to model them! NYFW has never looked so good.
Recently, Graham was featured as the star of Lane Bryant's campaign, #PlusIsEqual, which celebrates "women of all shapes and sizes, and calls for greater representation of women of all body types." She also hashtags most of her photos with #IAmSizeSexy, a movement Graham has brought to life for every girl and every size. She is a role model for any and everyone looking to have confidence in their own skin!
