Guys, I have to admit something. Right here, right now, no judgments. This is a place of acceptance, and of support. OK, here goes: I legitimately like Jamie Lynn Spears' new single. I didn't think I would, since it's not exactly in a genre I generally gravitate toward, but I can't help it — the girl's got a great voice. I wasn't exactly a fan before, but after Jamie Lynn Spears' performance on the Today show this morning, consider me a convert: This is a great performance, and her voice sounds wonderful.
ICYMI, Britney Spears' little sister has been pursuing a career in country music lately after she took a few years off to raise her daughter, Maddie, whom she had at 16-years-old. Now 22, Spears is back, and last month even released a new music video for her newest single, "How Could I Want More." It was sweet, in that all-American, radio-friendly way — and Spears looks and sounds good. This performance isn't much different, except in that it's live, so you can really see the emotion in Spears' face as she sings. Yes, I am officially a fan, and I have no shame about it.
