Kate Won The Red Carpet Once Again
When it comes to owning a red carpet, no one can shut it down quite like Kate Winslet, whose Toronto International Film Festival dress, according to US Weekly was seriously next-level. I don't think I've ever loved the color gray so much.
Kate is hands down one of my favorite actresses to see on the red carpet. She's always so body positive, she picks classic yet statement making gowns, and always exudes her fierce inner confidence. Plus, she always looks flawless, so I mean there's that. This years TIFF was no exception, and the Oscar-winning actress won the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie, The Dressmaker, on Monday in a gunmetal Badgley Mischka gown. The halter was floor-length, and featured exquisite beaded detailing on the neckline and sides. Also, it showed off her seriously enviable curves. This woman is all kinds of goals.
Gorgeous gown aside, the Revolutionary Road's actress's hair and makeup also deserve a serious shoutout. The 39-year-old wore her blonde hair in a low chignon with wavy pieces framing her face, dark-lined eyes, and nude lips, and looked basically the definition of undone elegance. Once again, no one can top Kate Winslet.
Here are seven other times Kate won the red carpet, because we all know this was not the first time.
1. Divergent Premiere
I mean, how good does she look in red?
2. TIFF 2013
Kate, and her baby bump, looked amaze in navy.
3. Titanic 3D Premiere
Those glittering sleeves, though...
4. Cesar Film Awards
If you got it, flaunt it. And Kate obviously has got it.
5. The Golden Globes
She always manages to make classic still look exciting.
6. Emmy Awards
Again, flawless in red. Again, winning all the awards.
7. Oscar's
Duh. Flawless, old Hollywood beauty. Also, gunmetal is clearly her color.
