I'm used to Lady Gaga ditching pants for a variety of social gatherings. She's moved onward and upward, literally, ditching her shirt this time while enjoying a beverage. Lady Gaga wore a sheer black bra while having drinks with a friend, once again channeling her friend and fashion diva Donatella Versace.
The top half of Gaga's bra was lacy and sheer so she wasn't showing off too, too much skin. She might have veered dangerously close to "Nip Slip" or "Wardrobe Malfunction" territory, but nothing was exposed in this selfie.
Gaga is as well known for what she doesn't wear as what she does actually put on her person. Her pants-less ensembles are quickly became her signature. But she likes to keep us guessing and maybe she felt like a shirt was overrated this time out.
It is worth mentioning that it's been a super hot summer and there have been many times that I wished I could ditch my top. But, alas, I'm not a famous pop star who can get away with such things. So while Gaga going without a shirt as she consumes a libation is most noteworthy in this selfie, notice how much she looks like Versace again.
"Gagatella" is back!
It's the super long, super blonde, and center-parted cascade of hair that totally channels the always faboosh Donatella. It's not the first time that's happened.

1. The Ads
When Gaga appeared in Versace ads a few seasons back, she definitely took her inspo from the designer with her perma-bronzed skin and sleek blonde hair. She was like Donatella's baby sister!
2. At An Oscar Party
They are like a big and little sister or a mother and daughter. Whatever the case, both looked very similar while wearing column shape, curve-hugging gowns at an Oscar party.
3. Seriously, How Are They Not Related?
There is so much love between these two. They look and act like family and Gaga has proudly been a Mini-Donatella many times.
4. Goth Queens
Sure, their outfits and hair hues were technically different. But Gaga and Versace were black-clad goth queens. This is the rare time that there wasn't a metric ton of self-tanner involved. I love both of their pale complexions here.
5. Glammed Out
It was the mega long, platinum blonde hair, dramatic shades, and square-shoulder dress that gave off a distinctly Versace vibe.
She was a total Donatella doppelganger.
6. It Was The Thierry Mugler Runway, But...
Gaga waltzed down a Thierry Mugler runway a few years back. But she had the fashion gait (and hair) of Versace.

The stick-straight hair screamed "Versace" to me.

Gaga's skin was more bronzed than usual here. The dramatic lashes and straight blonde locks were totally yanked from the fashion maven's playbook.

Clearly, Lady Gaga and Versace share some strain of fashion DNA. Perhaps there is something else coursing through their bloodstreams that connects them on another level.
