Victoria Beckham Debuts New "Banging" Hairdo

If there's one person's whose hair is going to make headlines, it's Posh Spice. Victoria Beckham debuted wispy bangs over the weekend after keeping her dark brown hair long and flowing for the past few months. The look is beyond gorgeous and suits the former Spice Girl/current fashion designer and super mom amazingly well.

But would you have expected anything less? Beckham has become a style icon who you can always count on to be exceptionally well-dressed, beautifully made up, and flawlessly put together. It must run in the family, because her husband David, sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, and daughter Harper hardly disappoint in the style department either.

Having kept her hair pretty long and basic for quite some time, Beckham's new bangs are certainly a change of pace.

Like I said before, she looks absolutely gorgeous with the short, wispy bangs grazing her forehead, and the fact that she's been wearing the rest of her hair tied back at the nape of her neck only accentuates her new do, really showing off the banging hairstyle. Sorry, I had to!

Many outlets, from The Daily Mail to Just Jared, are saying that Beckham's new do is very Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany's. Indeed, the bangs are quite reminiscent of Hepburn at the height of her acting career, even calling to mind her performance in Roman Holiday. While I definitely think that the black sunglasses and the black dress Beckham is rocking add to the Hepburn vibe, I think she manages to make the look her own.

They don't call her Posh Spice for nothing!

I really couldn't tell you what made her add in the new fringe — maybe it's her S/S 2016 presentation at NYFW? Or the upcoming fall season? Or maybe she just wanted a change? Either way, the 'do is definitely working for her, and I hope we see a lot more of it in the coming weeks.

This is by no means the first (or last, I bet) time that Beckham has debuted a new hairstyle since her rise to fame with the Spice Girls. Here are nine other times Beckham absolutely stunned in gorgeous hair looks.

1. Wavy

Just look at that smoulder. Beckham totally knows her hair is perfectly bed-head and sexy with gorgeous, undone waves, and she's totally rocking it.

2. Braided

I would consider braids a pretty casual hair style. But alas, Beckham makes them look effortlessly pretty and put together, even standing beside Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour herself. Sigh.

3. Bun

With wispy strands framing her face, and a cute, voluminous bun right at the back of her head, this look is flawless.

4. Long

For so many years, Beckham had her hair cropped and short, never longer than her neck. Even though I loved that look, these waves are just as stunning.

5. Bobbed

See what I mean? With her facial structure (those cheekbones) and her angular jaw, the cut flatters her face and looks pretty against her skin.

6. Blonde Highlights

Ahh, the good old days of the 90s. I can't say I particularly love this look today. But back then, this style was all the rage. She's been a trendsetter from the start.

7. Dirty Blonde

Long, flowing, and — wait — blonde? Yes, believe it or not, Posh Spice actually went blonde for a brief period.

8. Cropped

"If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends." Tell me this hair cut doesn't give you major deja vu and I'd be genuinely surprised.

9. Platinum

When it was bleached blonde!

10. Pixie

I personally loved the pixie cut on Beckham. This look is also very reminiscent of Hepburn in her heyday. I wouldn't be surprised if the designer looked to this legendary actress and icon for style inspiration.

11. Curly

Because a pretty, curly 'do is always a default. With ombre tips and a few strands pulled back, this look is lovely, but a lot softer than what she usually goes for. Either way, she looks great.
