Nikki Reed's Wedding Dress Is A Dream

Walking down the aisle is already a beautiful moment aside from any of the glamour, but Nikki Reed's gorgeous wedding dress made her day the dreamiest. Reed and Somerhalder's back yard bar-b-que vibe wedding featured a relaxed feel with more casual than formal attire. According Brides magazine, the big day was something like "a bash that felt like both a beachside dance party and a Louisiana cookout, with taco stands presiding next to Cajun stations."

The surprise wedding with the bride and groom's closest friends and family was obviously a success — which is to be expected when southern food is involved!

Details aside, Reed's dress is what I'm crazy about. The actress explained that working with designer Claire Pettibone, "was an absolute dream... Not only is she an amazing designer, but she has the most wonderful energy." Reed is such a gorgeous person that her dress needed to compliment her natural beauty, but without being too over the top. I'd say that was exactly the result. The wedding will be featured in the October/November issue of Brides, due out on September 8th.
