Georgia May Jagger Designs Biker Chic For Mulberry
Just in time for fashion month, British brand Mulberry has collaborated with Georgia May Jagger for their latest capsule collection. With biker-chic inspiration, Jagger and the brand created a leather jacket, a small chain pouch, as well as silk scarves — already available to purchase in stores and online! And with Jagger's friend group and Mulberry's loyal customers, including Suki Waterhouse, Daisy Lowe, and Kate Moss, these pieces are sure to be spotted among the fashion crowd in no time.
Just as suitable for riding a motorcycle as walking the streets before attending a fashion show, it's clear that Jagger and the designers at Mulberry wanted to create a fitted, wearable version of the classic moto jacket. Known for their leather goods, Mulberry created the jacket in a black lamb leather with details specifically designed to make this a wardrobe staple and something you can wear with everything. Or, as Mulberry describes it on their website, "the ultimate leather biker jacket."
According to Fashionista, the jacket features a long-line body (for keeping your torso warm) as well as spacious sleeves (to layer underneath). In addition, the jackets come in emerald, sapphire, and magenta lining, so customers can pick the color they like best, as well as personalization so they can add their initials or a design on the back. And that's on top of all your favorite biker jacket details, including an asymmetrical zipper, studs, and a thick collar.
Amazing, right?

The jacket is obviously lust-worthy, especially with the promise of cold weather arriving any day now. But would you expect anything less from Jagger and Mulberry? The brand already makes adorable handbags and clothing, and with Jagger's effortless cool yet chic style they were bound to create something amazing. While the jacket would definitely be my first choice on my shopping list, I could also see myself rocking the leather pouch and the silk scarves also from the collection.
After that, all I need is, well, a motorcycle.
But this isn't the first time Mulberry has called on an "It Girl" to collaborate, inspire, or front their capsule collections. So, in an effort to drool all over pretty things, let's look back on other times Mulberry has collaborated with or designed accessories for an cool-girl celebrity. Apparently their marketing strategy goes a little something like this: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
And, well, I'm not complaining.
