Who is Danielle Staub's New Fiance?

Congratulations are in order for former Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, Danielle Staub. The Bravo alum recently became engaged to boyfriend, Joe Masalta, and has taken to Twitter to retweet a plethora of congratulatory messages from fans. Staub's stint on RHONJ only lasted two seasons, but she was arguably at the center of some of the series' most dramatic moments to date. After spurring Teresa Giudice to flip a table and having her hair extensions yanked by Lauren Manzo — among other things — it is nice to see the reality star move forward as she embarks on this exciting new chapter in her life. She confirmed the engagement on her Facebook page, with this statement:

I am overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for the outpouring of well wishes and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Joseph has helped me recognize the important things in life. As I embark on this new journey in the spirit of love and forgiveness, I'd like to apologize for mistakes I've made in the past. I feel like a big weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, and I am finally happy.

One question remains: Who exactly is Masalta? Saub has been relatively mum about her relationship on social media, and Masalta doesn't appear to take much part in the land of hashtags and filtered photos. However, judging by the activity on his Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts, Saub's new fiancé appears to be quite the catch. Let's take a look at what we know so far.

1. He Worked With The Madison Square Boys & Girls Club

According to Masalta's LinkedIn account, he worked with the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club as a consultant for three years. The nonprofit organization provides programs to youths in targeted populations in order to encourage development and success within in a variety of areas.

2. He Has Been Skydiving

Masalta went skydiving for a charity event and posted the video to his official YouTube channel. Not only does this show integrity — and some badassery — but the fact that Pitbull and Christina Aguilera's "Feel This Moment" is used as the soundtrack for this video might be everything ever.

3. He Resides In Philadelphia

If Facebook is correct, Masalta currently resides in the great city of Philadelphia — which is also listed as his hometown.

4. He Is Reportedly A Navy SEAL Special Warfare & Intelligence Expert

According to Us Weekly, Masalta has experience as a NAVY SEAL Special Warfare and Intelligence expert.

Being that Staub has been relatively mum about her relationship, there hasn't been too many specifics to learn about her soon-to-be husband. All signs point to Masalta being a truly charitable person, with a wealth of professional experience under his belt. Congrats to the happy couple!
