Will Brooks Still Be On 'RHOC'?

by Allyson Koerner

Will they or won't they? It's a question that has repeatedly followed Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers on The Real Housewives of Orange County when it comes to their relationship. Well, now that Vicki and Brooks have broken up, I'm sure you're asking yourself another question, specifically: Will Brooks still be on RHOC? There's no doubt that Season 10 has had a lot of drama when it comes to Vicki, Brooks' battle with cancer, and the psychic and Meghan King Edmonds, but just because interesting storylines follow Vicki and Brooks that doesn't mean he'll continue to pop up on the show. Although it's really hard to say for certain.

As RHOC fans know, Vicki and Brooks' relationship has always been on-again, off-again. So, that means they could easily reunite and he'd once again be a star on the Bravo series. However, based on their breakup statement, it appears they are done for good. They told Us Weekly,

After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time.

So, if they remain broken up, then Brooks probably won't appear on RHOC. I'm sure he and Vicki are still in one another's lives, but seeing as their romantic chapter has closed (for now, at least) it's time for the show to focus solely on Vicki and move past Brooks. If they remain friends, yeah, maybe we'll see his face from time to time, but, personally, I'd like to see just Vicki as a single woman whooping it up with her friends (like in the photo above) and finding herself without a man by her side.

Vicki is so much more than Brooks, which is something she's proven time and time again. She's a loving mom and grandmother, a caring friend, and an extremely successful insurance agent. So, it's time for RHOC to showcase Vicki as the independent woman fans know and love.
