Twitter Loves Nicki Minaj At The 2015 VMAs

Miley Cyrus might have hosted the 2015 MTV VMAs, performed a new song called "Dooo It," and dropped a surprise album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz , but it's possible Nicki Minaj still won the night. There was no shortage of Minaj at the 2015 MTV VMAs, as she opened the show and brought out special guest Taylor Swift, shut down rumors about a feud with Swift, won an award for Best Hip Hop Video for "Anaconda," and acknowledged another feud, this time with Cyrus. It was a lot of news for one night, but if social media is any indication, the fans are full of support for Minaj.

Arguably, there were many tweets calling out Minaj for her response to Cyrus' New York Times interview. And then, of course, there were people applauding Cyrus for her response to Minaj's on-stage jab. But there was an overwhelmingly positive response to Minaj slaying her opening performance, publicly making peace with Swift, and defending herself.

It sounds like there's many sides to the Cyrus-Minaj feud, but as far as social media is concerned, Minaj was the social media darling of the night.
